Amazing deceptively healthy treat ... Quest bar apple pie in an apple shell! Fun to eat and make too!

² Ingredients

  •  1 serving (serving = 2 tbsp) Walden Farms Calorie Free Caramel Syrup
  •  1/4 fl oz Water
  •  1 serving (serving = 1 packet) Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Stevia
  •  1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  •  0.08 serving (serving = 1 tbsp) Kroger Corn Starch
  •  1 serving (serving = 1 bar) Quest Apple Pie Protein Bar
  •  1 medium (2-3/4" dia) (approx 3 per lb) Apples
   

q Directions

For the Quest apple pie, hollow out an apple (save the inside!), cube the apple that you removed and place in a ziploc baggy with 1/4 t cinnamon, 1/4 t cornstarch, 1 packet nunaturals lowcarb stevia, and a splash of water. Microwave for 1 minute or until apples are soft. Put chunks back in apple shell. Microwave one apple pie Quest bar for about 15 seconds and roll flat. Cut into strips and place across top of apple like a pie shell. Bake/broil for 5-7 minutes at 175C. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon. Served in photo on top of sugarfree caramel sauce. Enjoy your guiltfree treat!
