Healthy chocolate and cherry oatmeal cookie recipe ((easy to substitute with your favorite ingredients))

² Ingredients

  •  1/2 8 oz container Plain Yogurt
  •  1 medium Egg
  •  1/2 serving (serving = 1 serving (28 g)) Mixed Nuts
  •  1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  •  1.5 cup, dry, yields Quick Oatmeal (1 or 3 Minutes)
  •  1 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Banana
  •  1 serving (serving = 4 sections) Trader Joe's 73% Organic Dark Chocolate
  •  1 tbsp Cinnamon
  •  1 dash Salt
  •  1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  •  1/4 medium (2-3/4" dia) (approx 3 per lb) Apples
  •  4 tsp unpacked Brown Sugar
  •  1 serving (serving = 1 tsp) Kroger Baking Powder
  •  1/2 serving (serving = 1/4 cup) Trader Joe's Dried Bing Cherries
  •  1 serving (serving = 2 tbsp) Nutiva Coconut Flour
   

q Directions

Mix all wet ingredients together
Add all dry ingredients to the mix except fruits, nuts and dark chocolate
Fold in cherries, hazelnuts and dark chocolate Preheat the oven at 350 degrees
Grease your pan with a tsp. of butter
Scoop out 8 tbsp. of cookie mix and place in the pan
Gently press down with a fork for even cooking Bake for 10-13 minutes, you will know they are ready when the bottom of the cookie is golden
