³ Description

Slow cooking is so winter! This super easy lamb shank recipe is packed full of goodness, with a rich tomato broth & served with your side dish of choice.

² Ingredients

  •  2 cup Tomato Puree
  •  1 tsp, leaves Oregano
  •  1 tbsp Paprika
  •  1 tbsp Black Pepper
  •  1 tsp Salt
  •  1 tbsp Rosemary
  •  2 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) Carrots
  •  3 cloves Garlic
  •  1 large Onions
  •  10 sprigs Parsley
  •  250 ml Red Table Wine
  •  3 cup (8 fl oz) Water
  •  600 g Lamb Foreshank (Trimmed to 1/8" Fat, Choice Grade)
   

q Directions

1. Throw all ingredients in a slow cooker
2. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
3. An hour from serving, stir & taste the broth. You may need to add a little extra salt, pepper & chilli to taste here.
4. Serve with cauliflower rice, sweet potato mash or steamed greens.
