A low fat, low calorie bean dip with all of the flavor! Added with a side of homemade, whole wheat pita chips makes a flavorful, filling snack that the whole family can enjoy.

² Ingredients

  •  8 tablespoon Light Sour Cream
  •  1 medium pita (5-1/4" dia) 100% Whole Wheat Pita Bread
  •  8 oz Cheddar or American Cheese (Reduced Fat, Pasteurized)
  •  4 serving (serving = 1/2 cup) Rosarita Fat Free Refried Beans
  •  8 serving (serving = 2 tbsp) Tostitos Medium Salsa
  •  2 cup Black Beans
   

q Directions

Ingredients for dip:
1 can drained black beans (16 oz)
1 can fat free refried beans (16 oz)
1/2 cup reduced fat sour cream
1 cup bottled salsa
1 cup reduced fat cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine beans and spread in an 8 inch baking dish. Spread sour cream over beans. Top it all off with the salsa, then cheese. Cover and bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 10 minutes.
Pita chips: cut whole wheat pita in 8 pieces. Spread on baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking oil. Sprinkle garlic powder and salt. bake 5-8 minutes. (5 if you want the chips to still be soft, 8 if you want the chips crunchier).
