³ Description

Delicious spicy quarter pound turkey burgers! I use Weber All Natural Blazin' Burger Seasoning, but you can use your favorite seasoning, or mix it up and do a few different ones for variety throughout the week. Add a side of vegetables and a whole grain bun (or other healthy carb) for a complete meal!

² Ingredients

  •  60 oz, raw (yield after cooking) Ground Turkey
  •  15 serving (serving = 1 serving (76 g)) Cooked Carrots
  •  1 tbsp, leaves Basil (Dried)
  •  1 small Onions
  •  15 serving (serving = 1 bun) Cobblestone Mill 100% Whole Grain Wheat Hamburger Buns
  •  15 serving (serving = 1/4 tsp) Weber Grill Creations Gourmet Burger Seasoning
  •  2 serving (serving = 1/2 second spray) PAM Original No-Stick Cooking Spray

q Directions

Finely chop the onion.
Knead onion and basil into the ground turkey until well mixed.
Divide seasoned meat into 15 equal portions and shape. (I find it easiest to divide it into thirds first, then each third into five burgers.)
Turn on large griddle to approximately 250 degrees Fahrenheit and spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray.
Put spicy burger seasoning into a small bowl.
gently lay each burger in the seasoning on one side, then the other. Gently brush off excess seasoning (or sprinkle sparingly on top for less spicy burgers)
Cook burgers approximately 15 minutes on each side. (Cook times may vary. Cook meat thoroughly.)
