Healthier Version To Deep Fried Tortilla Bowl

² Ingredients

  •  1/2 small (5 per pound) Red Sweet Pepper
  •  1 serving (serving = 1 tortilla) Joseph's Flax, Oat Bran & Whole Wheat Tortillas
  •  1/2 serving (serving = 1/4 cup) No Name Nacho Shredded Cheese
  •  1/2 avocado, NS as to Florida or California Avocados
  •  1/2 pepper, large (3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Yellow Sweet Peppers
  •  4 oz Ground Beef (95% Lean / 5% Fat, Patty, Cooked, Pan-Broiled)
  •  1 serving (serving = 2 tsp) Great Value Taco Seasoning
  •  1/4 medium Red Onions
  •  1/2 serving (serving = 2 cups) Dole Romaine Lettuce
  •  1/2 serving (serving = 1/2 cup) Appel Farms Low Fat Quark

Taco Salad

1 Joseph Flax & Oat Tortilla
1 cup of Shredded Romaine Lettuce
4 oz Cooked Extra Lean Beef (Taco Seasoning)
1/2 Avocado
1/2 Red Pepper
1/2 Yellow Pepper
1/4 Red Onion
2 TB Low Fat Quark
15 Grams of Shredded Cheese


In a skillet cook the Beef with Taco Seasoning. In the mean time take a Foil Cake Pan and shape it as a tortilla bowl or you can use the tortilla bowl mold. spray it with Pam and push the tortilla into it. Bake for 5 mins at 350 degrees. Then remove the tortilla bowl add the remaining items in the bowl.
